Sam’s work is being shown by (WAS) Gallery at the ‘Art on Paper’ fair in Miami Beach, Dec 2-6, 2015.
It is hard to believe, but this is the first time ever that a selection of works by Sam has been shown comprised purely of black and white silver prints from each of the four sixties books ‘Five Girls’ 1962, ‘Cowboy Kate’ 1964, ‘November Girl’ 1967 and ‘African Image’ 1967.
None of Sam’s sixties books has ever had a dedicated show, something that we will start to put right in September 2016 when ‘November Girl’ will have an exhibition debut at Nailya Alexander gallery in New York.
Thank you to the many passionate visitors who came by, both old fans, some with phenomenally deep knowledge of photo history and young photo lovers discovering Sam’s work for the first time. We look forward to welcoming fans old and new at Photo LA in January 2016, just a few weeks from now.
