These images were made during a workshop which I conducted for the Norwegian Television channel, NRK. One of my students produced a rock puddle image which strongly resembled some of Georges Braque’s abstract bird paintings. Her work inspired me to go over the same terrain again in order to demonstrate that by using a small stone to serve as an eye, many more birds could be found along the shore line.
