This gem was found in Don Thompsonʼs book: THE $12 MILLION STUFFED SHARK – THE CURIOUS ECONOMICS OF CONTEMPORARY ART. Published by Palgrave Macmillan USA and Aurum Press Ltd, London UK.
“At Christieʼs London in June 2006, an Yves Klein work called IKB 234, a canvas painted a unique solid blue, sold for £994,000, or $1.8 million. IKB stands for International Klein Blue. Kleinʼs work is as far as one can go from the requirement that the artist be able to draw, or balance color. What did Christieʼs catalogue say about this solid blue canvas?
These works allowed the viewers to bathe in the infinite, in the luminous spiritual realm of the Blue. Influenced by his experiences of Judo, his interest in Rosicrucianism, his fascination with the age of the atomic, Klein had created paintings that have no frames and therefore no edges, and are thus windows into the eternal and endless spiritual realm.
Imagine being offered a window into the eternal for just $1.8 million”.

Here’s one of my blue windows – its not a view into the eternal but then its also not valued at $1.8M.
