The City Museum in Munich, until September 16 2009, have a show titled Nude Visions: 150 years of nude photography. The well curated exhibition and associated book/catalog includes some of my favourite photographers like Will McBride who are sometimes overlooked by similar ventures elsewhere.
Assembled by Ulrich Pohlman and Rudolf Scheutle the book is available in hardcover (ISBN: 978-3-86828-060-9) and softcover (ISBN: 978-3-86828-085-2), published by Kehrer, 2009.
The example of my work in the show is a print from 1964 based on the jail set for Cowboy Kate and shot in my Johannesburg studio. The image below is not the print in the Munich exhibition but it is from the same shoot and appears in the latest edition of Cowboy Kate.
