On October 7, 2009, Le Book and the School of Visual Arts in New York sponsored an evening at Milk Gallery with Horacio Silva of the New York Times interviewing me in front of an invited audience of approximately 250 people.
Just ten days after I was discharged from hospital this was just what the doctored ordered. An evening with a room full of colleagues who could not have been more generous and warm in their response to my work and the stories that Horacio prompted.
Milk are very slick with their organisation of these events and after the interview the drinks flowed as the gallery counter worked furiously to sell books while I stood in the corner signing and inscribing. The feedback from photographers, art directors, stylists and lovers of photography could not have been warmer or more genuine. An evening of meeting and chatting with top level colleagues that left one old man with a lot of good memories.

FASHION ETECETERA was launched in September with an exhibition at Milk Gallery in New York. The project is a partnership with the Tommy Hilfiger group who have exclusive 3rd party rights to market, distribute and sell a special edition of the book and are sole sponsors of the exhibition.
