This pair of images combines black and white prints from the 70’s with colour elements added in the 80s. It is worth noting that this montage technique was produced entirely in-camera (using a half mirror technique) as a single exposure, without any help from photo editing software. Having said that, Photoshop is a very welcome tool for editing and repairing these pre-digital montages – and of course, for conducting new montage explorations.
